Hello hello - so much to share this month. September has only just begun and already I can see so far down the track!
Popping in again with a layout for Once Upon a Sketch's September challenge.
Another fabulous sketch to play along with this month and the Journalling Theme: "Lucky"
You are free to interpret our theme any way you like but please make sure your layout is based on the sketch below and includes some journalling (hidden journalling is fine)
My little girl took her time in choosing us as her parents. Much loved, much wanted, she finally made her arrival in July of 2010. The number seven surrounds her, hence the title. I've hidden some personal journalling behind the main image.
Once again, a Greatest View flair adds the perfect sentiment.
To add a bit of extra texture and depth, I've hand-stitched along the printed banner on the paper. I've cut some little flags and raised them on foam dots and finally dangled a heart wood chip from the stitching.
Materials used: Glitz 'Sunshine in my Soul' paper & stickers; Basic Grey 'Clippings' journalling card; Greatest View flair; Freckled Fawn wood chips; Prima stamp; sequins; needle & thread
Hopefully you can find the time to join us.
