Splendour in the Grass

This boy of mine is too delicious! I look at him and am constantly amazed by how divine
he is! I snapped this pic of him while on a break in Hervey Bay.

I wanted to keep the focus on him, so I've kept it fairly simple with just a few embellishments.

This paper matched his shirt perfectly, but it was a bit busy against the grass, so to add depth, I cut the same font (Ginebra Bolds) twice, but I offset the font so as to get an 'outlined' effect.

You can do this by selecting your text in Silhouette studio, then go to 'Object' menu. You will see a dialogue box open up on the right hand side. Select the circular shape with the red inner circle, and then you can adjust the width accordingly. Click apply when you're done.

I love these Imaginarium chippies - they give it an ethereal feeling.

  3. Gorgeous page--I really love the fresh color combination that you used. And the idea for getting the outlined look with the font is a great tip.

  4. Love your photo and how you have kept it as a focal point in your layout by not embellishing too much. The ID elemets are perfect, you are right - love how you have used a mix of raw and decorated chippies :-)
